At our Junior Church session on Sunday 11 January, the children explored the story of Mary and Joseph’s flight to Egypt, reflecting on what it meant to leave home suddenly and travel to an unknown place. Together, the group made thoughtful links between this Bible story and the experiences of modern-day refugees and asylum seekers. Held on 6 December 2025, the workshop brought people together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, full of creativity, laughter and festive cheer.
