This October, Rev. David Skitt and Rev. Siobhán Antoniou will be leading a new creative prayer and reflection group, inspired by Charlie Mackesy’s much-loved book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Using Hilary Brand’s specially written course materials, participants will be invited to explore themes of kindness, courage, and hope, alongside scripture and reflection.
The course will run in two formats to make it accessible to as many people as possible:
In-person sessions: Wednesday mornings in Banstead, led by Rev. David Skitt.
Online sessions: Thursday evenings via Zoom, led by Rev. Siobhán Antoniou. (Please note that the Zoom group will pause on Thursday 30 October during the half-term break, resuming until 6 November. In-person sessions will continue as planned.)
The sessions will offer a gentle, creative space for reflection and prayer, drawing on both beautiful illustrations and biblical insight.
Anyone interested in joining either group is warmly encouraged to contact Bethen by email at adm.dorkingurc@outlook.com or by phone on 01306 889644.
