Junior Church Enjoys the Great Outdoors

Junior Church made the most of the summer sunshine with a special outdoor session exploring and appreciating the natural world around us.
Inspired by Psalm 104, the children used their senses to notice the beauty and variety of God’s creation. They headed off on a scavenger hunt, discovering different sights, textures and treasures in the outdoor surroundings.
The session also included the chance to get creative! Using natural materials they had found, the children produced their own pieces of nature-inspired artwork in the style of artist Andy Goldsworthy.
It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy the sunshine, explore creation and think about the wonderful world God has given us.
As one of the children summed it up:
“We loved being outside!”
